Accessibility
We want the USHSG website and inquiry workflows to be usable by as many people as possible.
Accessibility is part of the way we design, review and improve the public website.
Our approach
USHSG aims to maintain a website that supports keyboard navigation, visible focus states, readable contrast, responsive layouts, semantic headings, form labels and alternative text for meaningful images.
Forms and workflows
Project inquiries, expert applications and pilot configuration controls are designed to work with standard keyboard and browser interactions. Required fields should be identified through programmatic labels and validation rather than color alone.
Third-party services
Some workflows may link to third-party services, including scheduling. Accessibility of those services is controlled by the applicable provider. If a third-party interface creates a barrier, contact USHSG so an alternative business process can be considered.
Feedback and accommodation requests
If you encounter an accessibility barrier or need an alternative way to access public information or submit an inquiry, use the Get Started and Contact page and identify the accessibility issue in the project description.
Ongoing review
Accessibility is reviewed as the website changes. New pages, forms and interactive controls should be tested across common screen sizes and keyboard interactions before production release.
